about

With oldschool industrial hits such as "Seq 09" rounding it off, "The Diatone Sessions" makes a strong impression as the closing album for Epileptik Cerebral Reaktor. Much like "The Human Design" before it, this is a concept album that works better as a whole than in pieces, growing out of disorder towards order, from static and noise into hard-hitting beats and crystalline sounds. Following the artist's death, each track was digitally remastered by Austin musician BMFD and is now available here on BandCamp for free. If you like what you hear, all that is asked is that you share it.

about

After 3 years of silence, ECR returned in 2006, producing five full albums in a two-year time period before his tragic ... more death. The dark dissonance from previous works remained, but now with a clean methodical edge to them. ECR remains the most industrial of all Trochlear projects, making no attempt to tone down a track for any "easy listeners" in the audience. less
